Reference is tr.uie to T. W. BISHOP's memorandum to 0. C. SHACKLETON dated October ,15, 1984 on the above captioned subject matter. That memo trrnsferred to OI tec DCPP allegations, including Nos. 786, 879, and 1108. Allegation hos. 786 and 679 involve hhc employee conduct, and resolution responsibility end shculd t>e assigned to OIA.

Allegation No.1108 involves en allegation of calculation manipulation. This Allegatipr is being returned to Region V for review of the suspect calcula-tions. If, in fact, there cre errors or doubts about the technical basis of-the calculations in question, then 01 will accept resolution responsibility.

Allegation Nos. 1441,1444. er.d 1445 were shcwn on recent comput'er printouts of January 18 ard January 29, 1905 as being assigned to 01. OI has not received any correspondence from Region V assigning these allegations to 01. -

Furthemore, these allegations involve NRC enployee conduct and should be forwarded tt) CIA.

Albgation No.1543 concerns a false statement by PGl.E concerning welder nualification tests surveillance. Region V is recuested te determine if, in fect, a false statement was made by FGt.E on the technical aspects cf this allega ti.on. If this be the case, then 01 can develop the investigation to cetermine willful intent.

A Allecatfor. No. 1623 appears to involve an issue unde:r the jurisdiction of '

safeguards. On that basis, it is being returned to Ocgion V for reassignnent.
