Revision to the Proposed Technical Specification Change to Amend the Footnote for Limitine Condition for Operation 3.5.1 and 3.5.2 Reference 2 proposed revisions to Technical Specifications (TS) 3.5.1 and 3.5.2 footnotes regarding the need to realign the Low Pressure Coolant Injection (LPCI) system for LPCI in,iection if needed while operating the system in the Shutdown Cooling Mode of operation. In addition, Detmit Edison Company proposed a revision to TS 3.5.1 APPLICABILITY. For OPERATIONAL CONDITION 3, the "3* **"(single asterisk and double asterisk) notation had been identified as a typographical error in Reference 2 and was proposed to be changed to 3* ** (triple asterisk). The oroposed revision for the APPLICABILITY OPERATIONAL CONDITION 3*** notation is withdrawn. The enclosed TS page includes the remaining proposed changes with APPLICABILITY restored to reflect its original '

notation.

The Enclosure provides a revised mark up of the existing TS and a typed version of' the affected TS pages. The enclosed pages will replace the respective TS pages previously submitted by Reference 2, Enclosure 3.

This revised change doea not invalidate the remaining proposed TS change as described in the Reference 2 letter. Detroit Edison has reviewed both the issue of Significant Hazards Consideration and Environmental Impact provided in the Reference 2 letter, and has concluded that the previously submitted evaluation remains applicable to the proposed amendment request.
