i
- 3-1 to 3-4 Unit Three entered the month operating at a power level of i
! 834 MWe and operated until the 4th when a normal shutdown of i
the unit was conducted for snubber inspection.
4 i
During the Unit Two refueling outage it was noted that several.
f snubbers on the main steam lines were inoperative. Inspection of the identical snubbers on Unit Three was conducted. Each of the Unit Three snubbers was visually inspected and stroked for l operability. }kt problems noted.
i 3-4 to 3-20 Following the inspection of snubbers, a normal unit startup was commenced with the unit coming on-line by the evening of the 6th.
However, problems were experienced with one of the three Low i
1 Pressure Heater strings and power was restricted to 700 MWe.
i
- Erosion of a small portion of the Heater shell was to blame, i
3-20 to 3-31 With the repair of the Heater string the unit reached a power level of 831 MWe. The final results for the month of March was j a capacity factor of 83.37% and an availability of 93.08%.
