As per the federal Freedom of Information Act, I cm formally reauesting specific documents discussed and entered as part of the record during licensing hearings conducted by the Atomic 3afety and Licensing Board in February 1979 at Tulsa, Oklahona. The public hearings concerned licensing for the proposed 31ack Fox Station nuclear power plant under c :nstruction at Inclr. , Oklahoma, to be owned and operated by the Public 3ervice Company of L 31ahoma.

Abstracts from a len; thy General "lectric Co. report, entitled "The Reed Report," were entered into the record during those hearings. At that time, copies of the cbstracted report were not available.

It is my underst.nding that the report includes certain " trade secrets" belonging to General "lectric, but a copy of the " Reed Report" with those so-called secrets deleted from the te-t would also oc acceptable in fulfilling this FOI request. As per the intent of the FOI Act as interpreted by the courts, reasons for deleting material from the requested documents should accompany the documents tihen delivered.

As per the F0I Act, a response to this request is required :ithin a reason-able amount of time, preferrably within 10 days. If costs for photocopying i the report will exceed $25.00, please notify ne by telephone or mail.
