As per the federal Freedom of Information Act, I am formally requesting specific documents discussed and entered as part of the record during licensing hearin;s conducted by the Atomic 3afety and Licensing Board in February 1979 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. The public hearings concerned licensing for the proposed Black Fox Stntion nuclear power plant under c;nstruction at Inolc, Oklahoma, to be ouned and operated by the Public Service Company of Oklahoma.
Abstructs from a len; thy General "lectric Co. report, entitled "The Reed Report," were entered into the record during those hearings. At that time, copies of the abstructed report were not available.
It is my underst nding that the report includes certain " trade secrets" belonging to General ~1ectric, but a copy of the " Reed Report" with those so-called secrets deleted from the ter:t would also be acceptable in fulfilli:ig this FOI request. As per the intent of the FOI Act as interpreted by the courts, reasons for deletin; material from the requested documents should accompany the docutents uhen delivered.
