Dear Sir:

s

'--L'f.

I am writing this letter due to my concern over nuclear power.

I am very against the Black Fox Plant they are trying to put up in Oklahoma.

I was born and raised in Oklahoma. It seems to me that it would be a great lost to our' state to allow nuclear power plants to come in and pollute our land, waters and air! We are one of the few states left that does not have nuclear power plants. Please, please let us keep it that way.

There are so many reasons why we should not allow nuclear power t o continue. One that concerns me most is the radioactive waste.

They keep producing it, but there has been no sure way of dis-posing of it. We are talking about waste that stays active for hundreds of years! Why not use what we have--such as the sun and wind--instead of risking destruction to all that has been given to us.

If Black Fox were to go up and something happened due to human error or a natural disaster (Oklahoma is known to'have some very des.tructive tornadoes), radiation would be released into the air and there is no way of getting it out. Man can produce it, but he cannot get rid of it. That would affect your life and mine.

Please hear our cry for help and vote against nuclear power plants in our state.

Thank you.
