Dear Sir or Madam:

By References (1) and (2), Southern California Edison (SCE) submitted proposed changes to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) Physical Security Plan needed to support the Steam Generator Replacement at SONGS 2 and 3.

Based on additional information developed since References (1) and (2) were submitted, SCE has concluded that the proposed changes may be implemented under the provisions of 10CFR50.54(p). As a result, SCE hereby withdraws Amendment Application Numbers 253 and 239 for SONGS Units 2 and 3, respectively.
