Dear Mr. Russell:

Our letter AEP:NRC:0980U, dated November 12, 1993, proposed to delete Technical Specification (T/S) 5.9.1 and T/S Table 5.9-1 (Unit 1) and T/S 5.7.1 and T/S Table 5.7-1 (Unit 2), entitled "Component Cyclic'r Transient Limits." The letter proposed to relocate the requirements of these T/Ss to the Updated FSAR.

Pursuant to a discussion with your staff on September 22, 1994, this letter supplements our previous request by changing the reference to those T/Ss in T/S 6.10.2.e (Administrative Controls-Records) to Table 4,1-10 of the Updated FSAR.

This additional change is considered to be administrative in nature, and as such our 10 CFR 50.92 evaluation provided in our letter AEP:NRC:0980U remains valid.

Attachment 1 contains the additional present T/S pages, marked to reflect the proposed change. Attachment 2 contains the additional proposed, revised T/S pages.

The proposed change has been reviewed by the Plant Nuclear Safety Review Committee and by the Nuclear Safety and Design Review Committee.

In compliance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b)(l), copies of this letter and its attachments have been transmitted to the Michigan Public Service Commission and to the Michigan Department of Public Health.
