ACCEPTANCE OF URENCO USA ANNUAL UPDATE TO DECOMMISSIONING FUNDING PLAN (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFIER L-2018-FPR-000)

Dear Mr. Padgett:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has reviewed your submittal (LES-18-166-NRC), dated December 20, 2018, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System

[ADAMS] Accession Number ML18354A671) which provided an updated decommissioning cost estimate (DCE) in accordance with license condition 16.d of special nuclear material license number SNM-2010. The updated DCE included several enclosures in support of your submittal for approval.

The NRC staff has completed its review of your submittal. Based on the information provided, the updated DCE is approved. Louisiana Energy Services, LLC remains liable for any decommissioning costs not covered by the financial instruments referenced above.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter is available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at:
