Dear Chris Schwarz:
By letter dated September 1, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession No. ML23244A191), Louisiana Energy Services, LLC (LES), dba Urenco USA, requested the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) approval of an amendment to special nuclear material (SNM) license 2010 (SNM-2010) to remove License Condition 14.
The NRC staff performed an acceptance review of your application to determine if the application contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete the detailed technical review. This letter is to advise you that, based on our acceptance review, the application does not contain sufficient technical information. The information needed to continue our review is described in the enclosure to this letter. To schedule our technical review, this information should be provided within 25 days from the date of this letter. If the information described is not received by this date, the application will not be accepted for review.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The PDR is open by appointment.
