PARTIAL ACCEPTANCE OF URENCO USA ANNUAL UPDATE TO DECOMMISSIONING FUNDING PLAN (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFIER L-2018-FPR-000)
Dear Mr. Padgett:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has reviewed your submittal (LES-18-075-NRC), dated June 27, 2018, transmitting your annual update to the decommissioning funding plan for the Eunice, New Mexico facility. We find your updated cost estimate acceptable, and our safety evaluation report is enclosed.
We request that you obtain a financial instrument that guarantees funds in the amount of this estimate. The financial instrument should be submitted within 30 days of the date of this letter.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter is available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS).
