Dear Mr. Pardee:
By letter dated November 17, 2006 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML063380360), as supplemented by letter dated September 21, 2007 (ADAMS Accession No. ML072640607), Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon) requested to amend the Technical Specifications, Appendix A, of Renewed Facility Operating License numbers DPR-44 and DPR-56 for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3. The requested amendments would increase the interval between local power range monitor calibrations from 1000 megawatt-days/ton (MWD/T) to 2000 MWD/T. Per discussions between Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and Ms. Pamela Cowan and other Exelon staff on December 6, 2007, Exelon has proposed to provide a supplement to the NRC related to the November 17, 2006, amendment request.
