MARK II CONTAINMENT PROGRAM REPORT,"SINGLE VENT CHUGGING MODEL," NEDE-23703-P, DATED SEPTEMBER, 1977 Mark II Lead Plant Topical Report-Pool Boundary and Main Vent Chugging Loads Justification, NEDE-23617-P, Dated July, 1977 Seventy (70)copies of the subject report (NEDE-23703-P) are being provided by General Electric for the Mark II Owners Group for your review as part of the Mark II Containment Supporting Program, Task A.6.This report provides an analytical description of chugging and presents a model for predicting single vent chug frequency (time between chugs)and the frequency content of each chug.The information in this report supports the related technical discussions presented in the Chugging Loads Justification Report, NEDE-23617-P, (reference) submitted to the NRC in August, 1977.The enclosed report contains information which the General Electric Company customarily maintains in confidence and withholds from public disclosure.

The information has been handled and classsified proprietary by General Electric as indicated in the attached proprietary affidavit, and the request is hereby made that NEDE-23703-P be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR2.790.

The nonpro-prietary version of this report (NEDO-23703) will be provided in December, 1977.
