Reportable Occurrence 335-80-27 Licensee Event Report Pa e Two Additional Information

l. The applicability of this occurrence to. St. Luci.e Unit 2 and Turkey Point Units 3 8 4 is under consideration.
2. A Technical Specification change is being prepared to address operation in Mode 5 with a partially drained RCS
3. Entry into Mode 5 is from Nodes requiring higher shutdown margins.

Deliberate dilution would be re'quired ta a'chieve the minimum shutdown margin specified in Technical Specifications for Node 5.

The higher shutdown margins in Mode 4 and 6 and the need for deliberate dilution to achieve the minimum Node 5 shutdown margin makes this event unlikely.
