OF SEPTEMBER 2010, PUBLIC MEETINGS WITH TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY REGARDING WATTS BAR NUCLEAR PLANT, UNIT 2, FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT RELATED TO SECTION 7 INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL On September 1, 2, and 15, 2010, Category 1 public meetings were held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and representatives of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) at NRC Headquarters, One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland.
The purpose of the meetings was to discuss the NRC staff's questions and comments on the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Unit 2 Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR), Section 7 Instrumentation and Control, in support of TVA's application for an operating license.
