| I agree with and support the comments submitted to the NRC by the State of Vermont regarding VermontYankee and the comments submitted by the Vermont Legislators from Windham County. Also, I agree with theresolution and letter written and submitted to the NRC by the Greenfield, MA Town Council, and the letterswritten and submitted by the Gill, Bernardston and Warwick, MA selectmen, who represent the citizens of thesetowns within Vermont Yankee's EPZ. In addition, I would like to comment on the section of the PSDAR thatpertains to Vermont Yankee's Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ) and their Emergency Response Data System(ERDS). I live in Greenfield, a town within the 10 mile EPZ and have family and friends who live within the 10mile EPZ, as well as outside the EPZ, but within a radius of the plant that would be affected if there were a fireor explosion at VY. When the nuclear disaster happened at Fukushima, the United States government instructed all US citizens to get at least 50 miles away! Until the spent fuel has been safely transferred to dry cask storage,the EPZ must continue and .even expanded to a 50 mile radius.
