One alignment (jacking) bolt on the southeast corner of P202E wasmissing from the motor. This screw has no function in the operation ofthe equipment after installation, so this is not considered an adverseseismic condition.
Three alignment (jacking) bolts were observed to be in contact with themotor housing which is contrary to standard practice of backing out thealignment bolts after alignment is achieved and primary mountinghardware is secured.
This condition was previously identified by CR-PNP-2011-3626.
Work Order 286700 is scheduled to correct thiscondition.

Interaction Effects7. Are soft targets free from impact by nearby equipment or structures?
C2205A is bolted to C2205B, so this is not a seismic interaction concern.
C2205A is also adjacent to but not bolted to A TWS rack 2275;however, there is sufficient clearance
( > 2") between the racks. Therefore, this is not considered a potentially adverse seismicinteraction.
One set screw is missing on the fence enclosing the racks. This is not aseismic hazard since the fence is judged to still be securely mounted tothe floor, but CR-PNP-2012-04659 was written and WR 287549initiated to address the concern.

Anchorage
: 1. Is the anchorage configuration verification required (i.e., is the item oneof the 50% of SWEL items requiring such verification)?
The SEWs package conservatively evaluates similar rack C2206B,which has only six anchors, and comparatively accepts the eightanchorage configuration for rack C2206A. Therefore, since a drawingdoes not specify the eight bolt configuration, this component was notchosen for the 50% verification.

Racks C2206A and C2206B are bolted together and therefore do notpose a seismic risk to each other. The robust barrier fence around Racks C2206A & C2206B has setscrews missing from the base brackets of three of the vertical posts. The fence consists of an interconnected framework of light supportmembers and wire mesh. The weight and mass of the assembly isrelatively low. The remaining posts (approx 5) have the set screwsinstalled.
The base brackets with the missing set screws still function toresist lateral loads. Since vertical seismic accelerations are less than Ig(Ref Spec C114ERQ),
there is no expected uplift at the post locations.
Based on these considerations, the identified condition does notrepresent a potential adverse seismic interaction.
CR-PNP-2012-04627 was written to replace missing screws.8. Are overhead equipment, distribution

Three alignment (jacking) bolts were observed to be in contact with themotor housing which is contrary to standard practice of backing out thealignment bolts after alignment is achieved and primary mountinghardware is secured.

This condition was previously identified by CR-PNP-2011-3626.

Refer to response to question

  1. 1.6. Based on the above anchorage evaluations, is the anchorage free of YZ NEi UIZpotentially adverse seismic conditions?

Interaction Effects7. Are soft targets free from impact by nearby equipment or structures?

11. Have you looked for and found no other seismic conditions that could YZ N[-] Ur-adversely affect the safety functions of the equipment?

The cover for pressure transmitter 36-PT-654 is missing one of fourbolts which keep the cover secured to the equipment.

This is not aseismic concern due the redundancy of the other three bolts. CR-PNP-2012-04629 was written to address this item and calls for replacement of the missing fastener.

Instructions for Completing Checklist This checklist may be used to document the results of the Seismic Walkdown of an item of equipment on theSWEL. The space below each of the following questions may be used to record the results of judgments andfindings.

Additional space is provided at the end of this checklist for documenting other comments.

Anchorage

1. Is the anchorage configuration verification required (i.e., is the item oneof the 50% of SWEL items requiring such verification)?

YN NEI U[r] N/A[-(Note: This question only applies if the item is one of the 50% for whichan anchorage configuration verification is required.)

Refer to SEWs package dated 6/19/95 for anchorage configuration.

6. Based on the above anchorage evaluations, is the anchorage free of YO NEI ULIpotentially adverse seismic conditions?

Interaction Effects7. Are soft targets free from impact by nearby equipment or structures?

Racks C2206A and C2206B are bolted together and therefore do notpose a seismic risk to each other. There is a 3" gap between C2276 and C2206B. However, both racksare well anchored.

Since vertical seismic accelerations are less than Ig(Ref Spec C1 14ERQ), there is no expected uplift at the post locations.

Based on these considerations, the identified condition does notrepresent a potential adverse seismic interaction.

CR-PNP-2012-04627 was written to replace missing screws.8. Are overhead equipment, distribution

systems, ceiling tiles and lighting, and masonry block walls not likely to collapse onto the equipment?

The west masonry block walls next to the rack, 65.9 and 65.10 aresafety related.9. Do attached lines have adequate flexibility to avoid damage?10.
