On June 3,1999 the NRC issued Administrative Letter 99-02," Operating Reactor Licensing Action Estimates," which requested that addressees submit information pertaining to estimates of the number oflicensing actions that will be submitted for NRC's review for the upcoming Fiscal Years (FY) 2000 and 2001. In accordance with your request, Southern Nuclear Operating Company estimates that fourteen (14) submittals will be made during FY 2000 and ten (10) submittals will to be made during FY 2001. It is not anticipated that any of the scheduled submittals will potentially gcaerate a complex review.
This estimate does not constitute a formal NRC commitment and may change due to shifts in priorities and personnel availability.
