In accordance with Section G.4, Task Order Procedures, of the subject contract, this letter definitizes the subject tat.k onler ne effort shall be performed in accordance with the enclosed Statement of Work and the Contractor's technical proposal dated February 3,1998.

Task Order No.136 shall be in effect from February 5,1998 through March 6,1998, with a cost ceiling of $34,615.91, which is inclusive of the $10,000.00 verbal authoaization provided to you on February 6,1998. De amount of $33,630.00 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, the amount of $78.00 represents the facilities capital cost of money, and the amount of $907.91 represents the fixed fee.

BACKGROUND The licensee (PSE&G) has taken numerous step: during this extended outage to address Salem performance problems. The purpose of this task is to obtain assistance in the completion of the NRC actions necessary to conclude that adequate perfore nce improvement has resulted from various

Prior to the start of on site inspection, the contractor's staff is required to be available to coordinate inspection aspects, such as travel logistics, with the Team Leader. Because of the lack of suitable lodgings in the vicinity of the plant site, contract personnel will '

be allowed to lodge in the Wilmington, Delaware area at rates allowed for that area.-
