1 Gentlemen: l South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G) hereby requests a revision to the Technical Specifications for the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station (VCSNS). This letter reformats the previous submittal dated August 10, 1989, to comply with new guidance received from Mr. Jack Hayes, NRC Project Manager. The proposed change corrects an omission / typographical error.in the  ;

. renumbering of Section 3/4.7.11 of the Technical Specifications to agree with I changes contained within Amendment 79 to the Facility Operating License.. l SCE&G requests NRC review and approval of this change by June 1, 1990.

The change request is contained in the following attachments:

Attachment 1 - The Technical Specification pages with the requested change indicated.
