In a letter dated August 17, 2011, General Electric-Hitachi (GEH) responded to a Request for Addition Information dated June 2, 2011. The subject of these correspondences is the annual certification of the parent company guarantee for financial assurance of decommissioning. Given the August 17, 2011, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has clarifying questions that are necessary to complete their review. The clarifying questions are in the Enclosure.

In a letter dated August 17, 2011, General Electric-Hitachi (GEH) responded to a Request for Addition Information dated June 2, 2011. The subject of these correspondences is the annual certification of the parent company guarantee for financial assurance of decommissioning.
