TVA letter dated July 16, 2010, 'Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Unit 2 - Request for Additional Information Regarding Fire Protection Program (TAC NO. ME0853)"
The purpose of this letter is to provide the document that TVA committed in the referenced letter to send to NRC in support of its review of the Fire Protection Program for WBN Unit 2.
Specifically, in regard to TVA's review of MSO scenarios that could affect post-fire safe shutdown, NRC requested TVA to provide:
      "A description of each of the scenarios identified by the analysis, including how post-fire safe shutdown is ensured for each scenario" The description of each scenario identified by the analysis was provided in Enclosure 1 of the referenced letter. Enclosure 1 of this letter contains the WBN Unit 2 Multiple Spurious Operation Evaluation, which provides a description of how safe shutdown is ensured for each of the MSO scenarios.
