On May 25, 2011, at 6:30 p.m., a public meeting was conducted at the Waterford Town Hall, Waterford, CT, between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and NEAC to discuss the implementation of the Reactor Oversight Process and to answer questions regarding the Millstone Nuclear Power Plant performance for calendar year 2010.
On May 25, 2011, at 6:30 p.m., a public meeting was conducted at the Waterford Town Hall, Waterford, CT, between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and NEAC to discuss the implementation of the Reactor Oversight Process and to answer questions regarding the Millstone Nuclear Power Plant performance for calendar year 2010.  
The NRC presented and discussed its assessment of the safety performance of Millstone for the period from January 1 through December 31, 2010. The NRC presentation included a discussion of the NRCs 2010 Millstone performance assessment results and U.S. nuclear plant safety in light of Japan events. As part of the meeting, the NRC provided NEAC with an overall assessment of plant performance and with specific information concerning selected inspection findings.
 
The public observed the meeting and was offered the opportunity to communicate with the NRC regarding Dominions performance at Millstone and the role of the agency in ensuring safe plant operations.
