Response to NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2007-17 "Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations" Reference : NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2007-17, "Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations," dated July 12, 2007 The referenced Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) requested that facility licensees provide a proposed schedule of operator licensing examinations and an estimate of the number of candidates to be tested in operator licensing examinations and the Generic Fundamentals Examinations (GFEs) for calendar years 2008 through 2011 . Attachments 1 through 10 provide responses to RIS 2007-17 for the Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) and AmerGen Energy Company, LLC (AmerGen) plants identified above. The requested information for each facility is provided on a separate NRC Form 536.
In calendar year 2009, 6 candidates are expected to take the dual site Limited Senior Reactor Operator (LSRO) initial license examination as indicated on Attachment 8. The schedule for the indicated examination is as follows: the written examination and part of the operating examination will be given at Limerick Generating Station (LGS); the remainder of the operating examination will be completed at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS) . Since the LSRO examination is a dual site examination that involves both LGS and PBAPS, rather than repeating the same information on both attachments, the examination scheduling information is provided on Attachment 8 for PBAPS. Attachment 6 for LGS references Attachment 8 where necessary.
