SCHEDULE REVISION FOR THE REVIEW OF THE PEACH BOTTOM ATOMIC POWER STATION UNITS 2 and 3 SUBSEQUENT LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION (EPID NOS. L-2018-RNW-0012 / L-2018-RNW-0013)
Dear Mr. Gallagher Enclosed is a revised schedule for the review of the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Units 2 and 3 subsequent license renewal application. This schedule has been revised to reflect issuance of the draft Safety Evaluation Report (SER) in October 2019. In addition, the milestone date for the meeting of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) Subcommittee on Plant License Renewal has been changed from October 2019 to November 2019. These schedules have been revised to accommodate workload priorities and resource constraints. The December 2019 schedule for the ACRS Full Committee is being maintained and, the NRC is maintaining the overall 18-month schedule for issuance of the subsequent renewed license (pending a hearing).
In addition, the NRC has scheduled a public meeting for September 12, 2019, in Delta, PA on the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement which was issued on July 30, 2019.
