B0MB THREAT At 2:48 a.m. (CST), November 29, 1986, the licensee received an off-site call at the station switchboard from an unidentified male. The caller indicated that a bomb was planted in the reactor and it would go off in five minutes.

No site evacuation was initiated, but the licensee immediafely began a station search and augmented security patrols. No device was found and there was no explosion. The licensee considers this call to be a hoax.

The NRC Information Assessment Team the local Federal Furenu of Investigations and the local law enforcement authorities were notified on December 1,1986.

The licensee notified the NRC resident inspector of the threat at 3:49 a.m. (CST),

November 29, 1986.

The State of Minnesota will be notified. .,
