OPERATING LICENSE ISSUANCE On April 11, 1986 the USNRC issued Facility Operating License NPF-50, together with Technical Specifications and Environmental Protection Plan, for the Hope Creek Generating Station. License Number NPF-50 authorizes operation of the reactor at power levels not in excess of 3293 megawatts thermal. Operation is restricted to power levels not to exceed five percent of rated power pending completion of low power testing and Commission approval for ascension to full power. The licensee had planned to commence fuel loading operations at 3:00 a.m. April 12, 1986 however delays were encountered due to problems with two of four source range monitors. Current plans are l
