Nuclear Regulatory Commission 2443 Warrenville Road, Suite 21 0 Lisle, IL 60532-4352 Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units I and 2 Dockets 50-266 and 50-301 License Nos. DPR-24 and DPR-27 Calculation Proiect Schedule Update Via letter dated August 15, 2007, Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC), former license holder for Point Beach Nuclear Plant (PBNP), submitted a calculation project schedule change that provided a revised completion schedule for the safety-related calculations. These milestones involved the completion of 163 calculations (electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation and control (I&C) calculations), as well as performing an effectiveness review by the end of 2008. FPL Energy Point Beach, LLC, has completed these calculations and has performed the effectiveness review.

The calculations will be fully implemented by October 31, 201 1, including but not limited to revisions to procedures, design and licensing basis documents, and completion of other actions specified within the corrective action program.

Summary of Renulatory Commitments The following new Regulatory Commitment is made:

o Implementation of the 163 safety-related calculations completed during the course of the calculation review and reconstitution project will be completed by October 31, 201 I.
