Nuclear Regulatory Commission dated January 28, 2005, "Change to Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure" (NLS2005006)

The purpose of this correspondence is to document a commitment regarding a change to an Emergency Plan implementing procedure discussed in the Reference letter. In a telephone conversation with the acting Nuclear Reactor Regulation Project Manager for Cooper Nuclear Station of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), on July 13, 2005, Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) was requested to document as a commitment a planned change to the Cooper Nuclear Station Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR) that would be made following NRC approval of the above Emergency Plan implementing procedure change.

This statement will be added to the USAR prior to or concurrent with implementation of the above Emergency Plan implementing procedure change.

Should you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact Paul Fleming, Licensing Manager, at (402) 825-2774.
