By letter of August 3, 1989,-the NRC requested a response to questions generated by its consultant, Idaho National Engineering Laboratory.(INEL),

regarding the Farley Nuclear Plant ISI Programs. This response was requested within 45 days of receipt of.the August 3, 1989 letter to ,

facilitate INEL review. Due to the magnitude and nature of this request, Alabama Power Company plans to submit its response by October 6, 1989.
