OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM EVALUATION AT WATERFORD 3 I 4

Examiner Standard 601, Section C, requires that a requalification program evaluation be performed at all licensed power facilities at least once every ,

two years. The Waterford 3 facility has not had a requalification program l evaluation since it began commercial operation in September 1985. Due to the suspension of requalification program evaluations by the EDO.on September 11, 1987, an evaluation will not be performed at Waterford 3 during FY 88 since their scheduled requalification examinations are conducted in November.

Region IV has no reservations with postpuning this evaluation since the  !

licensees did very well during both initial, upgrade,-and replacement license )
