APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Coastal Photo Docket No. 99990001 Mount Laurel, New Jersey 08054 License No. General Licensee g As a result of the inspection conducted on May 6, 1987, and in accordance with the "Genaral Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions," 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C (Enforcement Policy) (1986), the following violatinn was identified:
10 CFR 31.5(c) reqdires that a licensee transfer or dispose of a device containing byproduct material only by transfer to persons who are specifically licensed by the NRC or an Agreement State to receive the device.
Contrary to the above, on May 5, 1987, a static eliminator containing 10 millicuries of polonium-210 was reported missing by the licensee and was not disposed in accordance with 10 CFR 31.5(c).
