Initial / Data 7.0 FFBColerrr. TNDOCTnfMATION 7.1 This procedure is designed and written to be performed by Nuclear Operators reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor. There are no additional skills required.

7.2 For work located in radiation controlled areas, due consideratien should be given to the ALARA program.

This may result in a determination that special prepa-rations and/or precautions are necessary.

7.3 Valve stroke time should be recorded at a remote ', 2 operating station using indicator lights. Local stroke verification should be coordinated with the i Control Center.

8.0 Parnro0IsITrs 8.1 Notify Shift Supervisor prior to start of test. M / C'G 5Id 8.2 Acknowledge Section 6.0 (Limitations and Precautions) has been read and understood. M / ot + Y'

, 9.0 mernocTirm i s NOTE: Stepe 9,1 through 9.19.2 are to be performed (37 for valves annotated in Column 1 of the Data sheet 1 of Enclosure 1.

l SP-370 Rev. 3 7 ' '

Inienimate NOTE: Valve position irdication verification need not L

be performed on a quarterly basis for -ne asterisk-denoted valves. However, position indications must be compared at least as frequently as scheduled fuel outages, not to exceed a two year interval. If this test is not performed, enter NA (not applicable) in the data box in Columns 3, 8 & 9, and do not perform Steps 9.1 & 9.2 for that valve.

9.1 Record each valve's initial remote position indication (0 or C) in Column 3 and verify that indication against the local valve position indication.

9.2 Upon completing each stroking manipulation, verify the reacte pcsition against the TULL-STROKE (see Step 3.1.1) position of the valve as indicated locally.

Enter 'O' or 'C' in Column 8 and 9 of data sheet.

9.3 prior to timing a stroking evolution, record instrument ID number of stopwatch and check for recent calibration. M / <*I #
