2. plug power cord for Digital Tachometer into 120v AC recep tacle.

3. Insert photo-pickup into Jack labeled ' Counter /Contactor Input
  • at : ear of tachometer unit.

M 4. Turn display toggle switch to

  • Tach
  • and turn
  • rpm
  • toqqle to left facing : ear panel. D
5. Turn Tachometer *CN/CFF" toggle switch to *CN" and observe photo pickup lamp illuminates.

6. With ASV-50 tripped, put a small (~ 1/2") piece of reflecting tape on EFP-2 turbine (or pump) shaft in a location accessible to the photo-pickup.

8. The Tachometer is now ready to display RPM.
9. Record instrument # 7//D50 Cal Due Date /$ ~2U' [b
10. Relatch ASV-50 and reopen. 4
11. Verify Annunciator Alarm cleared in Control Room. k
12. Continue with Step *B'9.3.7.1 on SP-349.
