Follow-upp contact with alleger I called Mr. Staggs this morning to see when his story on the electricians might appear.
He said it might run as a news piece (as opposed to a feature story) in the first section of the paper soon.
Staggs said one of the employed electricians has told him that supervisors at Palo Verde are destroying paperwork related to thi. complaints of improper work which was identified with NCRs because of a pending Arizona Corporation Commission audit.
I again asked Staggs for the name and phone number of the

escond electrician who had agreed to be quoted in the newspaper.
He declined to provide any additional names, so I asked him to ask his source to call our Rmsident Inspectors at Palo Verde.
He said he would do that.
I then called Roy Zimmerman and passed along the statement that records are baing destroyed.
