I returned a call to John Staggs, a newspaper reporter with the Arizona Republic. Mr. Staggs inf ormed me that he met with six Bechtel Two of the electricians had recently electricians on September 4, 1985.

I determined the following additional information: the sin individuals have worked at Unit 2; one of the fired individuals is named Tom Tait; and Mr. Staggs has had contact with at least one electrician today and is e::pecting to receive a specific wori: order number describing a deficiency later today. I requested again that he ask the individual to contact the NRC with their concerns.
