gap exceed 1/2 inch.

The gaps shall be measured from the l

periphery of the base plate (See attached example).

If these ::onditions cannot be me t the gap shall be filled j

If l

these conditions cannot be met the gap shall be filled with-1 l

I diamater and shall not be drilled within 1 inch of a l

concrete anchor.

Addi tionally, the grout fill holes shall be located outside the bolt hole pattern.

I NOTE:

Floor munted camponent supports that are not flush mounted require shimming and grouting and shall be verified by Quality Control inspectors per Reference 1-C.

"wa l kdown" may be completed by QC inspectors to verify adequate bearing.

This "wal kdown" shall be a minimum frequency of ten baseplates of each type of attached item l

(pipe support, cable tray hanger, structural platform, etc.)

j in each area, but not more than twenty of each i tem., This "walkdown" inspection shall be documented on an Inspection l

Report (Attachment 3).

I Deficiencies identified during this "walkdown" shall be reviewed by the applicable QA/QC Supervisor for evaluation i
