3.1.1 Pre-Application Inspection Pour card sign-off completed b'i crafts, engineers and a.
geologist.
b.
Draw simple sketch on back of pour card showing area to be shotcreted and elevation.
Surface to be covered trimmed to line and grade.
c.
d.
Surface clean of loose material and mud.
e.
Surface kept moist from time of cleaning.

Surface not frozen.

Rock bolts have,been pull tested if required by geologist.
h.
Non-corrosive grade pins set to depth of application at a maximum spacing of 8 feet in each direction.

Shotcrete workmen qualified to ACI-506.
3.1.2 Application' Inspection a.
QC Inspector will sign for Test Lab representative in
" add-water" block of batch ticket if water is added.
b.
Shotcrete applied by " wet mix" method, c.
Shoterete applied in one layer.
d.
Material placed beyond minimum application line established by grade pins.
e.
Water flows are controlled.
f.
Rebound is removed to line of shotcrete.
g.
Test core sample areas marked.
h.
Curing compound is applied immediately after completion of application.
3.2 DOCUMENTATION The QC Inspector shall verify that* requirements of this instruct-ion have been met by completing Figure 1 and submitting to the Civil Inspection Supervisor / designee for review, processing and filing in accordance with CPSES requirements for "QA Records".
