This instruction is to be used when inspecting the pressure grout used on ASME Section III, Subsection NF and Class 5 supports.

i j 3.1 INSPECTION VERIFICATION

Prior to application of the epoxy, as much as possible, verify that the grouting surface and surroundjng area is clean and dry.

Verify grout dams are provided along plate edge.

The mixing ef the epoxy resin and resin converter shall be as per the manufactu rer's instructions and Reference 1-A.

Hole size shal' be as specified in Reference 1-A and located in void area.

I If requi red, heating should be verified prior to grout placement.

Acceptable tempera tares shall be maintained until curing has taken place.

Ceilcota 658-N at 70' F has an approximate working time of 1/2 hour.

Wamer temperature will shorten this time; cooler will lengthen it.
