SUBJECT:
REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE CASE NO:
RII-84-A-0143 Reference is made to my memorandum to J. Blake, which provided the results of your review of the alleger's affidavit in this case. The two technical issues identified for followup were identified as:
- 1) Construction activities affecting steam generator feedwater pumps and piping systems related thereto
- 2) Hanger inspection problems We have received a request from Mr. Charles Barth, Senior Litigation Attorney, ELD, to determine if there are previous inspection reports dealing with these two con-cerns. Mr. Barth has requested Region II assistance in identifying any such reports.
He has also requested this information be provided to him as soon as possible, but no later than the morning of November 7,1984, as he has a deadline from the ASLB to prepare a response by November 13, 1984.
