Dear Mr. Beckham:

The Consnission has' issued the enclosed Amendments Nos.109and 47 to Facility Operating Licenses Nos. DPR-57 and NPF-5 for the Edwin 1. Hatch Muclear Plant, Units Nos. I and 2.

The amendments consist of changes to the Technical Specifications (TSs) in response to your applications dated i

July 9,1982, October 24 and December 20, 1983, and April 24, 1984.

The amendments revise the Technical Specifications to reflect corporate and plant staff reorganization to change the composition of the Plant Review Board, to delete the Senior Reactor Operator license requirement for the Plant Manager, to change the level of approval for plant procedures, and to clarify procedures for review by the Plant Review Board.

A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. Notice of Issuance will be included in the Consnission's next Monthly Notice.
