20555 NRC DOCKEIS 50-321, 50-366 OPERATING LICENSES DPR-57, NPF-5 EIMIN I. HA'IGI NUCLEAR PLANT LNITS 1, 2 RADIOLOGICAL EFFLUEN'T TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIObE StBMITTAL Gentlemen:

In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.90 as reg 2 ired by 10 CFR 50.59(c) (1), - Georgia Ibwer Ocupany. (GPC) hereby amends our mtmittal of

' Algust 1, 1984, which proposed charges to the Plant Hatch Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications (Appendicies A and B to the Operating Licenses).

- Itis application amends the proposed Technical Specifications as mtmitted A1 gust-1,

1984, by the correction of technical inaccuracies and typographical errors, and by the addition of charge bars in the margins in our previous submitti.1.

The technical inaccuracies are: (1) the implication in table _ notation' 4 on page 3.14 of Unit 'l RE'IS is that there.is a trip function associated with the instmment, when there is not; (2) that the doses on page 3.15-7 of Unit 1 are averaged over the elapsed 02arter rather than projected for the remainder of the cparter; and (3) in the bases for both Units for the explosive gas. mixture specification, oxygen is described as flann,.ble rather than as supporting comtustion.

Attachments 1, 2; and 3 are respectively the insertion instmctions and proposed amendment pages for Unit 1 Technical Specifications, Unit 2 Technical Specifications and Envirornental 'Nchnical Specifications.

The propcsed changes in - this mtmittal do not alter the conclusions of the significant hazards analysis or the safety evaluation provided ty our letter of of Alc31st 1,1984.

R1rmant to the reglirements of 10 CFR 50.91, Mr. J. L. Iedbetter of the Environmental Protection Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources will be sent a copy of this letter and all applicable attactments.

Very tmly yours,
