Pursuant-to the requirements of Section 5.5 of Environmental Technical Specifications (Appendix B to the Operating License), Georgia Power Company hereby subnits the following information. We have received a renewal of our NPDES Permit No. GA 0004120 effective August 1,1983.

The expiration date of the permit is December 5, 1987.

This change will be reflected in the subnittal of proposed Radiological Technical Specifications scheduled to be submitted next month..
