MEMORANDUM AND ORDER The motion of Suffolk County (presented by its County Attorney) for an extension of the time within which to file its brief in support of its appeal from the Licensing i

Board's April 17, 1985 partial initial decision is granted.

Consequently, the County's brief will be due on August 2, 1985. The same extension is accorded to the State of New York with respect to the brief on its pending appeal from the same partial initial decision.

Our May 15, 1985 order establishing the briefing schedule provided that the responsive briefs of the Long Island Lighting Company (LILCO) and the NRC staff were to be filed by August 28 and September 9, 1985, respectively. In light of the extension of the briefing time now granted to LBP-85-12, 21 NRC .

the County and the State, those deadlines will have to be adjusted. We are, however, not making that adjustment at this time. It will be made, following consultation with the parties, upon receipt of the County and State brief (s) .
