ORDER On October 16, 1990, the Commission invited the Secretary of Energy to file formal comments by November 2, 1990, regarding the request by the Long Island Lighting Company for an amendment to its operating license for the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station. The requested amendment wculd convert the Shoreham operating license into a "defueled operating license." igg 55 Fed.
Reg. 34098 (Aug. 21, 1990).
The Secretary of Energy has now requested an extension of time in which to file his comments.
Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 2.772(b), a one-week extension of that deadline is hereby granted.
The Secretary's comments must be in the Commission's hands by the close of business Friday, November 9, 1990 0
