LILCO'S OPPOSITION TO PETITIONER 8' REQUESTS FOR 1[ EARING ON BHOREHAM DECOMMISSIONING PLAN On January 22, 1992, Shoreham-Wading River Central School District and Scientists and Engineers for Secure Energy, Inc.,
each filed a Petition for Leave to intervene and Request for Prior Hearing in response to the NRC Staff's December 23, 1991 Federal Renister notice regarding the NRC's proposal to approve a decommissioning plan for Shoreham.
Pursuant to 10 C.P.R.
S 2.714(c), Long Island Lighting Company opposes both requests for hearing, for the reasons given in the Answer of the Long Island Power Authority to Intervention Petitions Concerning 9204140085 920206 l)5o$
