l This change has beene requested because of difficulties in achieving the presently required sensitivity during certain phases of low power operation.
I We have concluded that change No. 10, as set forth below, does not present significant hazards considerations not. described or implicit in the Final Hasards Summary Report, and that there is reasonable assurance that the health and safety of the public will not be endangered. A copy of our related safety evaluation is enclosed.
In view of the foregoing, the Technical Specifications of License No.
DPR-11 (Appendix A) are hereby changed as follows:
(a) The following item is deleted from Table 1:
"(a power level of 75 Kw shall give a current indication not less than 1 x 10-9 amps)."
(b)
In parts (2) and (3) of Items 6.1.8(a) and 6.1.8(b), the i
words " equal to or greater than 1 x 10-9 amps" are deleted and replaced with "two range switch positions higher in i
power than the selected range on which the low level trip interlock of Channels 5 and 6 is bypassed accordine to 6.1.8(c)."
(c) The last s entence of Item 6.1.8(c) is changed to read "This interlock on each channel may be bypassed for startup by switching to a selected rante on which the scram level shall 8506120401 850214 10 PDR FOIA PAY 85-54 PDR
