Dear Chairman Deale I have been made aware today of a letter, dated June 29, 1979, sent to you by Mr. Rodger Leed, acting on behalf of the citizen's group S.C.A.N.P., in the matter of the Skagit Nuclear Power Project (Docket 50-522 and 50-523) .

. In the subject letter, Mr. Leed has referred to testimony which would be given by Mr. R. T. Green, of the B. C. Energy comunission, on behalf of his client in the above matter.

This letter is to advise you that Mr. Green has not agreed to provide testimony at the hearing for S.C.A.N.P. The only communication Mr. Green has had with Mr. Leed, or his client, is a letter from a Mr. Rob Carr of S.C.A.N.P. , dated April 16, which was received in our office on June 18, 1979.

The letter was mailed in Seattle, June 16, 1979. A copy of the letter and envelope are enclosed. Mr. Green has not replied to this letter in either written or oral form and has never r.et with or been involved in any way with Mr. Leed, Mr. Carr or S.C. A.N.P.

Notification on the public record by Mr. Leed that Mr. Green would be providing testimony for his client is not only inaccurate and presumptuous, but has been a source of

e=barrassment to Mr. Green and this Commission.

-I would ask that this natter be clarified on the public record.
