Exercise Reports of the September 28, 1982, Small-scale Exercise and the September 14, 1983, Full-scale exercise of the Offsite Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plans for the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Station Attached are two copies of the Exercise Reperts of the September 28, 1982, and the September 14, 1983, joint exercises of the offsite radiological emergency preparedness plans for the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Station. Maryland State and Calvert, Dorchester, and St. Mary's Counties participated in each exercise. The small-scale exercise report, not dated, and the full scale exercise, dated October 13, 1983, were prepared by Region III of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

FEMA Region III staff has furnished a copy of the 1982 report to the State of Maryland, but did not require a schedule for correction. FEMA Region III staff will farnish a copy of the 1983 report to the State of Maryland and will request a schedule of action for correction of deficiencies. As soon as we recieve and analyze the State's response, we will send you the results.
