Special Report, ECCS Actuation and injection into RCS Gentlemen:

Seabrook Station experienced an unplanned reactor trip and Emergency Core, Cooling System (ECCS) actuation and injection into the Reactor Coolant System on January 25,1994. North Atlantic Energy Service Corporation (North Atlantic) submitted Licensee Event Report 94-01 on February 24, 1994, [ Reference (b)] describing the circumstanos of this event. A supplement to LER 94-01 was submitted on March 25,1994 [ Reference (c)). The injection of water into the RCS was via the Refueling Water Storage Tank to the centrifugal charging pumps into the four high head charging lines which enter the four RCS cold legs.

North Atlantic hereby reports pursuam to Technical Specification 3/4.5.2, ACT10N b., that the total accumulated actuation cycles for the four high head injection lines is three. This total includes the January 25,1994 event and two occasions during preoperational testing in November 1985.
